Catching up

In Uncategorized on October 30, 2013 at 10:08 am

I don’t know if it’s autumn or something in the air but recently I had a phase of bumping in to people from the past, It started with Peta Waddington, whose Shepherd’s hut we photographed a few years ago for a Christmas feature in The Times Magazine ( she also kindly allowed me to use it in the recently published Homes from Home). As well as being a talented graphic designer she also hosts a children’s radio show called Hip Auntie.

Then there was a bus trip to Camberwell to see Keith and Mark of the wonderful homes ware company Mini Moderns. We did a feature on their live/work studio some time ago but this time our meeting was about their amazing converted railway carriage in Dungenesss and the new wallpaper collection that the seaside retreat has inspired.

Then to a shoot at the Pimlico home of interior architect Rients Bruinsma, and as I love to show how things really look on a shoot, rather than the perfect pictures that are published, I thought I’d show you a couple of behind the scene images

But as the saying goes, ‘it was alright on the night’ and we got fourteen great shots. But during the day there was a lot of bee-like buzzing outside, and by peering though the window I found the source, a man strimming concrete? Strange old world!
